Hawaii-born and NYC-based, Kim Ann Foxman began her club life serving rave smoothies in a Hawai‘i all-ages venue before helping ignite San Francisco’s early rave scene and co-founding Hercules & Love Affair in NYC. Her solo trajectory, anchored by the Firehouse and self:timer labels, fuses propulsive house, raw 303 acid, emotive techno, and cosmic sub-genre play, while her Pleasure Planet project adds extraterrestrial new-wave dimensions to her psychedelic sensibility. A queer nightlife pioneer with unforgettable sets at Berghain, Fabric, DC-10, Bassiani, and residencies at Good Room, she continues to shape world-class club culture through visionary sonic storytelling and inclusive community-building.
