Levity is a high-energy dubstep trio from Chicago (John Hauldren), Los Angeles (PJ Carberry), and Minnesota (Josh Tarum), formed in 2019 and celebrated for a colorful, genre-melding sound that blends dubstep, trap, future bass, hip-hop-inspired drums, melodic drops, and playful vocals. Their breakout moment came with a surprise Electric Forest set in 2023, fueling rapid growth via remixes for Tinashe, Louis The Child, and Quinn XCII and viral originals like “Flip It.” Known for immersive live energy and crowd interaction, they continue to expand through big-stage festival sets, a growing label presence, and Best New Artist nods in 2024.
