Porter Weston Robinson, born in 1992 in Atlanta and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is an American DJ, producer, and singer-songwriter known for transforming electronic music through emotive storytelling and genre evolution. He broke out with his 2011 EP *Spitfire* on OWSLA, then released *Worlds* in 2014, *Nurture* in 2021, and his latest *Smile! :D* in 2024, each album marking a shift in sound and vulnerability. Also known for his alter-ego Virtual Self, he layers his performances with both nostalgic and forward-thinking elements, weaving melody, synth-pop, and introspective lyrics into his live shows that resonate deeply with fans. Expect a high energy, big room set mixed in with some pop roots.
