VNSSA (Vanessa Barnes), originally from Newport Beach and now based in Los Angeles, brings an energized blend of house, bass, disco, and techno, infused with punk attitude and raw percussion. She started off drumming in indie/rock bands as a child, then transitioned into DJing local house parties and clubs, eventually releasing her debut single in 2018. Since then she has dropped EPs and singles on key labels like Dirtybird, Higher Ground, Sweat It Out, Box of Cats, and Techne; landed a Beatport #1 track (“Word” with Walker & Royce); and played major festivals like Coachella, EDC, Lightning in a Bottle, and more.
