About
Erol Alkan (born 30 May 1974) is a London-born, Turkish-Cypriot DJ/producer, remixer, label founder and influential figure in alternative electronic music since the mid-90s. He rose to prominence as the host of the iconic Trash club night, remixed a wide range of artists from Franz Ferdinand to Daft Punk, runs his own label Phantasy Sound, and remains celebrated for genre-blurring, acid-tinged house/techno, boundary-pushing DJ sets and “Bugged In” mixes.
