SHADED is Los Angeles–born producer Skyler Taugher, known for a psychedelic, funk-laced take on tech house that blurs into peak-time techno. Breaking out with early releases on Turbo and Hot Creations after his SHDWPLAY era, he’s since dropped heaters on Desert Hearts, Patrick Topping’s TRICK, John Summit’s Experts Only, and DIRTYBIRD (“Bad Boy,” 2025). Touted by tastemakers from Tiga and Dubfire to Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers, SHADED’s shows often run as a live-hybrid performance—hardware, on-the-fly edits, and thick low-end pressure. Expect rubbery basslines, trippy vocals, and rolling West Coast momentum built for dark rooms and big systems.
