Sidney Charles grew up in Hamburg playing hip‑hop and funk before becoming one of the most celebrated figures in House and Tech‑House. Known for jacking beats and head‑nut groove, he curates deep, high‑energy sets at fabric, Watergate, Circoloco and HÖR Berlin, most recently his live set from HÖR in early 2025 earned strong praise for rhythmic storytelling and raw intensity. As label A&R for Avotre and a longtime staple of the underground, his productions on Modab, SCI+TEC and Suara echo a commitment to the roots of dance music while continuing to push it forward.
