Ariel Zetina is a Chicago based producer, DJ, and playwright whose work bridges the gap between transgressive club music and theatrical storytelling. Her sound draws from a diverse palette including Chicago house, Midwestern hard techno, Belizean punta, and global queer club culture. She is a resident at the legendary Smartbar in Chicago and a long standing member of the Discwoman roster. Notable releases include her 2022 debut album Cyclorama and the 2020 EP MUAs at the End of the World on Femme Culture. Her aesthetic is defined by a contrast between binary four on the floor beats and glitchy, arhythmic textures that explore themes of identity and trauma.
