About

Baauer is the recording and performance alias of Harrison Rodrigues, a producer born in New York and raised in London who reshaped bass music with his 2012 breakout single Harlem Shake. Working across trap, club, and hybrid electronic styles, he has built a catalog on labels including Mad Decent, LuckyMe, and his own imprint, releasing the albums Aa and Planet's Mad. His productions and remixes have drawn collaborators ranging from AlunaGeorge and Rae Sremmurd to AJ Tracey, pairing festival-sized drops with adventurous sound design. He has performed at major festivals such as Coachella and Moonrise and delivered widely shared sets for Boiler Room in New York. Known for high-energy, bass-forward DJ sets, he remains a defining voice in the American trap and club scene more than a decade into his career.
