DJ Sharf is a New York City-based DJ and the co-founder and creative director of the party brand parka, which he started with Lawrence Lee in Berlin. Over roughly a decade he has been behind some of the sweatiest and most memorable dance floors in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, and Paris. He holds a residency at Le Bain atop The Standard, High Line, and has played The Lot Radio and clubs including Rash and Paragon. Influenced by early 2000s rave and the bridge and tunnel sound of angelic vocals over hard beats, his sets carry an expansive Latin and tribal soul. He anchors a recurring community of DJs and parties across the city. Expect funky, high-energy, groove-first sets.
