Galantis is the Swedish dance project of producer Christian Karlsson, also known as Bloodshy, who launched it in 2012 with Linus Eklow and has led it alone since the 2017 album The Aviary. The debut album Pharmacy (Big Beat, 2015) topped the Billboard Dance Albums chart on the strength of Peanut Butter Jelly and Runaway (U and I), which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Later releases include No Money (2016), the album Church (2020) and Heartbreak Anthem with David Guetta and Little Mix (2021), a run of radio-sized dance pop built on big vocal hooks. Galantis has played the main stages of Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza and headlined a 2025 Japan tour, and since 2022 has staged its own Midsommar concept shows, a Swedish summer party with flower crowns. The sets draw on the project's own catalog and current festival house, programmed for sing-alongs rather than deep club mixing. It remains one of the most recognizable names in commercial dance music, with a live draw that fills rooftops and amphitheaters across the United States.
