Joris Voorn is a Dutch DJ and producer based in Amsterdam and a central figure in his country's house and techno scene since the early 2000s. He broke through with the Muted Trax and Lost Memories EPs and has released three albums, among them Nobody Knows, named electronic album of the year by Billboard in 2014. He co-founded the labels Green and Rejected with Edwin Oosterwal and now runs the Spectrum label and radio show, a platform for his melodic, cinematic take on techno and progressive house. Voorn has headlined major festivals including Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Ultra, Movement in Detroit and Electric Zoo, and held Ibiza residencies at ANTS and elrow. His fabric 83 mix and long-running Spectrum broadcasts show a meticulous, emotive style built for long, evolving sets. He remains one of the most recognizable and widely booked artists to come out of the Netherlands.
