Maara is a DJ and producer from Montreal, now splitting time with Berlin, known across the international dance-music scene for playful, high-energy sets that move between techno, trance, electro and breaks. She broke through with her 2021 EP Ultimate Reward on NAFF Recordings, followed by Potion Activated on Sonido Isla, whose track The Forbidden Plum earned a Resident Advisor nomination. Her releases lean into queerness and euphoria, from Goddess Within on Radiant Love to work on labels including Kalahari Oyster Cult and X-Kalay. She runs her own imprint, Ancient Records, and has appeared at Boiler Room and HÖR Berlin. A selector as much as a producer, she brings a mischievous, dancefloor-first energy wherever she plays.
