Mama Snake is the alias of Sara Svanholm, a Copenhagen, Denmark based DJ and producer who also works as a medical doctor. She founded the label Amniote Editions and became a central figure in the modern techno and trance renaissance rising out of Copenhagen's underground scene. Her sets move through fast, euphoric techno and trance with a melodic, high energy focus. She has performed for Boiler Room at its Dekmantel Festival broadcast in Amsterdam and appeared on HÖR Berlin, building an international profile across European club and festival circuits. Booked worldwide through Omni Artists, she remains a leading voice in the current wave of euphoric, uptempo techno.
