Paula Tape is a Chilean DJ and producer born in Santiago and now based in Milan, Italy. She came up as a drummer in metal and indie-electro bands before turning to DJing, and built a reputation for warm, analog-leaning house that leans Balearic, playful and steeped in Italian and South American influences. She has released on Rhythm Section International, Permanent Vacation and Sounds Of Beaubien Ouest, including the 2021 EP Astroturismo, and runs her Hola Mundo project alongside work with the Tempo Dischi reissue label. A resident presenter on Worldwide FM, where she hosts the monthly show Astral Jam, she has also been among the first Chilean DJs to earn a residency slot on BBC Radio 1. Her live credits include a Boiler Room set at Polifonic Festival, a debut at Sonar in 2025 and a date at Montreux Jazz Festival, and she plays regularly across Milan, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Barcelona. Expect loose, sun-warmed sets that move between vintage house, techno and Balearic grooves.
