Regent is a Berlin-based DJ and producer who emerged in 2020 and quickly became one of the techno capital's more talked-about newer figures. He has released on Planet Rhythm, ARTS, Clergy, and Mutual Rytm, often drawing from a deep archive of unreleased material to keep his sets unpredictable. His style moves across techno's spectrum, from cerebral, tripped-out depths to gnarlier, harder passages. He has played key institutions including Tresor, RSO, and Bassiani, where his sets balance control and release. His Coral Knife EP on Mutual Rytm marked him as a producer working with real range and confidence.
