Originally hailing from Somerville, Massachusetts, S4M23 is a musician and DJ currently based in New York City by way of Chicago. A lifelong devotee of electronic music, she began performing experimental live sets and DJing around New England at age fifteen, later immersing herself in the underground scenes of Chicago and New York through her collective KOR. Her sound reflects a deeply informed ear and reverence for the dancefloor, often manifesting as a mutant collision of Midwest electronics, Belgian new beat, and leftfield house. Notable releases include the ANGELFACE EP on Evar Records in 2021 and the track Jester on Low Income Squad in 2020. She is a frequent presence at venues such as Nowadays in New York City and has performed alongside artists like Derrick Carter and DJ Stingray 313.
