Sparrow and Barbossa is a Madrid based electronic music duo formed by Swiss pianist Bryan Coletta and Uruguayan percussionist Emiliano Haberli. Their sound fuses organic instrumentation with Afro house and Latin rhythms, a style they frequently characterize as Caribbean House. The duo gained international recognition with their 2018 debut Yeke, followed by their 2021 album Seven Seas and the 2023 release Réciprocité. They have collaborated with artists including Rampa, Josh Milan, and Dele Sosimi, while performing at major venues such as Tomorrowland, Coachella, and Circoloco. As co founders of Tortuga Records, they actively support emerging talent from Latin America and beyond. Their work bridges traditional cultural heritage with contemporary dancefloor production, establishing them as a prominent force in the global Afro house scene.
