Stiffdance is a DJ based in Richmond, Virginia, known for machine-driven dance music that pulls from electro, EBM, new beat, and old-school techno. Her sets weave older and newer sounds into a dark, propulsive whole, and she has become a fixture of Richmond's underground. She also helps run Infrared, a Richmond party series, contributing to the city's DIY dance culture. Beyond her home base she has played in New York City, appearing at Synthicide's 12 Year Anniversary at Bossa Nova Civic Club alongside Vhyce and Andi. Expect belgian techno, acid, and breakbeat pushed through a sweaty, industrial-leaning lens.
