Emerging from the 1980s b-boy scene, he became a foundational figure in mixtape culture with his "50 MCs" series before releasing his major label debut "The Piece Maker" on Tommy Boy Records in 2000. He followed up with "The Piece Maker 2" in 2004 and the Latin-focused "ReggaeTony" on EMI in 2005, collaborating with artists ranging from Wu-Tang Clan and Eminem to Louie Vega.
