Yaya is one of those DJs producers who people in the minimal and groove-heavy house world have quietly rated for years because his sound has real swing, texture, and musical identity behind it. Coming out of Turin with both African and Italian roots, and later becoming closely tied to Desolat before launching Tamango Records, he built a style that feels warm, percussive, and deeply locked into the dancefloor without ever becoming stiff or overly sterile.
