ZHU is an American producer, DJ, and vocalist who emerged in 2014 with the anonymous, Grammy-nominated single Faded, at first hiding his identity behind the alias. Born Steven Zhu and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he builds a moody, cinematic world of deep house, dark electronic textures, and live vocals that sets his shows apart from a standard DJ set.
