Analog Soul is the collaborative project of identical twin sisters Jacquelyn and Kathryn Smith, also known as Jacky Sommer and DatKat. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, the veteran duo relocated to New York City in the early 2000s and quickly embedded themselves in the local record store circuit. They established their voice with a long-running weekly show on East Village Radio, exploring the deeper and darker shades of house, techno, dub, and drum and bass. Today, Analog Soul holds a firm place in the New York underground, maintaining a monthly residency on The Lot Radio and frequently anchoring the booth at institutions like Nowadays, Public Records, and Basement. Known for their quiet authority and deep momentum, the sisters have brought their focused selections to international stages including Berghain, Honcho Campout, and Glastonbury.
