Born in Lutugino and formerly a key figure in the Kyiv underground, Berlin-based DJ Daria Kolosova has built a reputation for her kinetic, genre-spanning approach to techno. She initially honed her craft as a resident at Kyiv's Keller Club under the alias Dar:k, where she co-founded the Materia UA party series before transitioning to perform under her own name. Kolosova's sets filter hard, rolling techno through elements of breakbeat, electro, jungle, and hardcore, creating unpredictable and narrative-driven club experiences. She has become a fixture at renowned international institutions, securing frequent bookings at Berghain, Bassiani, Fabric, and BASEMENT New York, alongside major festival appearances at Awakenings, Time Warp, and Junction 2. In addition to her breakout HÖR Berlin streams and a celebrated 2023 mix for the Resident Advisor podcast series (RA.886), she has shared the decks for notable back-to-back sets with artists like Nastia, Dax J, and Etapp Kyle. Recently, Kolosova completed extensive tours across the Americas and Australia, while maintaining a rigorous European club schedule and preparing forthcoming releases for labels such as Yoyaku and Sub Series.
