James Axon is a Los Angeles based DJ and producer who cofounded the queer underground party series Planet Love. A classically trained pianist, he integrates his musical background into sets that traverse house, techno, electro, and disco. He maintains a monthly residency on Dublab titled Hearing Color, where he explores the intersections of synthesis and sound design. His performance history includes appearances at venues such as Good Room in New York City, Sunday Sunday in Mexico City, and Por Detroit in Los Angeles.
