London-based DJ, producer, and A&R executive James Grant is a key figure in modern deep and melodic house. As the co-founder of Anjunadeep alongside Above & Beyond, he has steered the imprint since 2005 into a prominent platform for emotive electronic music. Grant is best known for his ongoing collaboration with Jody Wisternoff, with whom he has co-mixed the flagship Anjunadeep compilation series since its fifth volume, including the recent Anjunadeep 16 recorded live in Vietnam. His studio output includes signature co-productions like the 2010 track 'Moth' and the 2019 single 'Dapple', alongside his solo Movement mix series which recently saw its sixth volume filmed in Watamu, Kenya. Beyond the studio, he regularly performs at major label showcases worldwide, from Printworks in London to the Anjunadeep Explorations festival in Dhërmi, Albania. Through his meticulous curation and refined ear for atmospheric grooves, Grant remains a defining tastemaker in the progressive and melodic dance music space.
