Kim Lightfoot is a Brooklyn-born DJ whose career began under the influence of Larry Levan and David Mancuso at seminal New York City venues like LOFT and Paradise Garage. He established himself as a resident DJ at the influential "After Life" party in the early 1990s, alongside Kalim Shabazz. Lightfoot also held a residency at Funk Hut at Underground Netwark and made guest appearances at historic underground dance parties including The Shelter, Body&Soul, and Caviar. His sound is characterized by house music, evoking New York's golden era with its undulating beats and elegant melodies. He remains an active presence in New York City's house music and dance culture scene, having also collaborated on remixes with Ron Trent.
