About
Acidic house and techno from NYC's underground queer scene.
Justin Cudmore is a New York City based DJ, producer, and curator recognized for his acid flecked distillation of house and techno. Originally from Illinois, he developed his foundational understanding of dance music through formative experiences in Chicago before relocating to Brooklyn. He is the creator of the Balance party series at BASEMENT and co runs the label Major Records alongside The Carry Nation and Mike Servito. His production work, including the 2016 debut Crystal on Honey Soundsystem and the 2017 EP Forget It on The Bunker New York, is characterized by snaking acid lines, whip smart drums, and offbeat rave melodies.
