Refuge Fridays deliver a heavy, industrial-leaning techno bill led by Chris Liebing, the German producer and CLR label founder whose driving, hypnotic sets have shaped the genre for decades. He is joined by Akua and by Black Asteroid, the industrial techno project of former Prince engineer Bryan Black. The night unfolds on Refuge's REX system, a custom four point rig built by co-founder Craig Bernabeu for the East Williamsburg club. Expect a dark, high energy marathon that pushes the room's hi-fi audio to its limits.
